Important Information For Customers

Please note that it is the customers responsibility to prepare a suitable base for your building to be sited onto.

For your guarantee purposes this should be a level, solid, concrete, slab or compacted gravel pad.
The use of a spirit level is advised.

If a suitable base is not prepared then future problems may arise i.e. twisting of building, doors and windows not functioning correctly.

If T. Preece, Timber buildings Ltd., considers the base not to be suitable or un-level we will not be held responsible or uphold the guarantee for any future problems that may occur due to the poor base work.

Please be aware that if we arrive to install a building and the base has not been prepared or is considered unsuitable there will be a charge imposed to cover the costs of a return journey if necessary.  This charge will be at the discretion of the company and shall be payable prior to the return journey being carried out.

Should you require any further information or advise on the base preparation, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The company guarantees for 12 months to replace any defect caused by faulty workmanship and / or materials supplied, providing the building has been maintained correctly and taking the above information on base preparation into account.  Faults should be reported within 7 days of being noticed or this will void the guarantee.
